Jurgen Mettepenningen’s cyclocross team will have a new name and a new look from 1 January 2027, when Skylux replaces Pauwels Sauzen as title sponsor.
The team will become Skylux–Altez Industriebouw, bringing an end to Pauwels Sauzen’s nine-year spell as first-name sponsor. The sauce company says it has achieved the brand recognition it wanted from the partnership and will now step away.
Skylux, a Belgian family business specialising in skylights and natural daylight solutions, has signed a four-year agreement with the team. The company says the sponsorship is aimed at increasing its visibility, with cyclocross providing a strong fit during the darker winter months.
The familiar red team colours are also set to disappear, with the squad expected to switch to a predominantly blue look under its new identity.
Michael Vanthourenhout and Gerben Kuypers remain key names on the men’s side, while Leonie Bentveld and Amandine Fouquenet lead the women’s line-up.
Until the end of December, the team will continue racing as Pauwels Sauzen–Altez Industriebouw before the Skylux era officially begins in the New Year.
