British cyclocross talent Zoe Roche heads to France this weekend following an impressive victory at the opening round of the National Trophy in Derby last Sunday.
The 18-year-old, racing in the colours of Decathlon CMA CGM, produced a perfectly timed attack in the closing corners of the elite women’s race at Moorways to defeat former British champion Anna Kay by three seconds, with Hope Inglis completing the podium. Roche also claimed the under-23 victory.
The 2025 British junior cyclocross champion is among the promising young riders associated with Decathlon CMA CGM’s new women’s development project, which is preparing to compete at ProTeam level on the road in 2027.
Roche now turns her attention to the French Cyclocross Cup opener at Nommay, where she faces strong domestic opposition, including Célia Gery, Amandine Muller and Perrine Clauzel.
Following her Derby success, the weekend offers another opportunity for Roche to demonstrate her growing potential against international competition.
