Shirin van Anrooij will race in Canyon//SRAM colours during the 2026–27 cyclocross season after confirming her move from Lidl-Trek.
The Dutch rider is set to join the team from 1 November 2026, meaning the transfer will take effect in time for the heart of the winter cyclocross campaign.
Van Anrooij has been one of the standout talents of her generation, combining a successful road career with top-level cyclocross. She claimed the under-23 world cyclocross title in 2023 and has since established herself as a regular contender in World Cup and other major international events.
Her arrival at Canyon//SRAM also creates an exciting partnership with British rider Zoe Bäckstedt, giving the team two of the most versatile young riders in women’s cycling.
For Van Anrooij, the move represents a fresh start after several seasons within the Lidl-Trek structure and could provide renewed momentum in her cyclocross career.
Still only 24, she remains capable of challenging for major victories and podium places at the very highest level. With a new team behind her and another full winter campaign ahead, Van Anrooij will be one of the riders to watch closely during the 2026–27 season.
